Participate in this easy way to support Beacon by simply passing out baby bottles (that we provide) to your group:
- Church members as they leave church on Sunday
- Youth group
- Small group
- Sports team
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCA
- School service projects
Encourage the body of Christ to collect their change for 3 weeks. Return the baby bottles and celebrate the success of this simple event!

It is very simple... it's called Baby Bottle Boomerang because you (one leader within the group) distributes empty baby bottles (provided by A Beacon of Hope) to your specific group, and , just like a well-tossed boomerang, they come back to you...full of coins, bills, and checks. The leader then brings the full baby bottles to A Beacon of Hope (Pregnancy Center of Johns Creek or Pregnancy Center of Decatur) as a donation to the center. It is strongly suggested to communicate the BBB campaign in the bulletin, newsletter, posters, announcements....
- Set the date for the BBB launch well in advance.
- Contact A Beacon of Hope (PCJC or PCD) to ensure we have your launch date on our calendar -so that we can provide the appropriate number of bottles.
- Set a date to pick up the prepared bottles at either location.
- Continue to communicate the BBB campaign throughout the event and send reminders to encourage bottles to be returned.
- It is possible to have one large Box labeled at the front office for bottles to be returned, if it can be under lock and key when appropriate.
- It is recommended that the campaign run for a total of 3 to 4 weeks at the most.
- Only checks are receipted!!!! Make sure this is communicated.
